| Located some 15km to the north of the City of Bulawayo
along Victoria Falls Road after Richmond Residential
Suburb, Umguza is mainly woodland that is rich in vegetation,
animal and bird life.
The Lucu River whose picturesque valley meanders
into the lower Umguza Dam offers the visitor some
relaxing walking and picnicking opportunities.
The Umguza Dam is rich in fish life. It is also home
to a variety of bird life including black, white and
brown ducks-a pleasure to watch. |

This park is located some 25km to the north-west
of the City of Bulawayo along Hyde Park Road, through
Pumula Residential Suburb, and just after St Peter’s
Mazwi village. The Park which is mainly savannah grassland
interspaced with some thick woodland is endowed with
a lot of bird and animal life.
Besides the ever-popular horse-riding, Mazwi has
firmly established itself as the camping venue for
large groups, especially from the Churches and Boy
Scouts. The youths just love to conference at the
Ngulungunda Campsite. |
